Buckshot Outfitters has been putting hunters on birds in the heart of the flyway for over 20 years. Flooded timber, rice fields, and world-class waterfowl hunting in the Duck Capital of the World.
Travis Buckley grew up hunting the flooded timber and rice fields of the Grand Prairie before he was old enough to carry his own shotgun. With over 20 years of guiding experience and access to thousands of acres of private hunting land, he knows this flyway like the back of his hand.
Whether you're a seasoned waterfowler chasing greenheads in the flooded oaks or a first-timer looking to experience world-class duck hunting, Travis and his team will put you on birds.
Our operation runs two trained Labrador retrievers, premium Avery and GHG decoy spreads, and blinds built for comfort on cold Delta mornings.
All hunts are fully guided with dogs, decoys, and blinds provided. Pricing is per hunter per day. Small groups keep it personal.
Hunt the legendary flooded oaks of the Arkansas Grand Prairie. Wade in waist-deep among the timber and call mallards into point-blank range. This is what Stuttgart is known for.
Lay out in the harvested rice fields with a full spread of decoys. Target ducks and geese working the open fields at first light. High-volume shooting on migration days.
The full experience. Morning timber hunt, hot lunch at the lodge, then hit the rice fields for an afternoon session. Two hunts, two setups, maximum opportunity.
Arkansas waterfowl seasons are set by the AGFC. Here's what's open and when — peak migration highlighted.

"Best duck hunting I've ever experienced. Travis had us in the flooded timber before first light and the mallards were cupped and committed all morning. Limited out by 8:30. The dogs were incredible."
"Brought my two sons down from Michigan for their first 'real' duck hunt. Travis was patient, put us on birds, and the boys are already asking when we're going back. First-class operation from start to finish."
"We've hunted with a lot of outfitters in Arkansas and Buckshot is the real deal. No crowds, private land, and Travis can call a mallard into your lap. The rice field setup for specks was unbelievable."

Arkansas enforces a daily bag limit set by the USFWS. Limits vary by species and are subject to change each season. We'll confirm current limits when you book. All hunters must use non-toxic shot only (steel, bismuth, or tungsten). Lead shot is prohibited for waterfowl hunting nationwide.
